The space



The French Alps enjoy an elegant setting of contemporary architecture at Chalet on the Rocks. Perched in the forest above Chamonix, this beautifully designed holiday home offers breathtaking views of Mont Blanc, the Aiguille du Midi and the Glacier des Bossons. Even better, its location takes you a short walk from downtown Chamonix and a few minutes' drive from some of the best ski slopes in the area.

Your vacation in this luxury chalet includes breakfast and daily cleaning. When you're not on the slopes, enjoy mountain views from a sunny terrace with loungers and barbecue, or take a bath in the outdoor hot tub. There's also an indoor sauna, as well as a satellite TV, an Apple TV, and wifi.

The villa has the same sloping roof and wood paneling as traditional mountain lodges, but its reduced lines and glass walls give it a modern touch. At the heart is a large open-plan room with a cozy sitting room arranged by a fireplace, a dining table for twelve, and a fully equipped kitchen with a breakfast bar.

Chalet on the Rocks has one bedroom with a large double bed and private balcony, and four bedrooms with double beds. All five bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms, ideal for a group of friends or extended families who want to spend time together and some privacy.

If you came to the Alps to ski, you're in luck: you'll find the Le Brevent ski lift, Mont-Blanc Ski and Aiguille du Midi, just a few minutes' drive from the chalet. For everything from a quick aprรจs-ski drink to a wedding dinner, walk or drive to downtown Chamonix, then head back to your hilltop retreat and watch the city lights twinkle.
